Poet, novelist and playwright Johann Wolfgang von Goethe has said, “A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.”
The month of February is so often, if not all the time, associated with love because of Valentines Day. Parkmall and ArtCebu gave the love month of February more emotional connotations through a Valentine’s Day art exhibit that sought to examine and visualize love. The exhibit took place from February 18 to 24 at the Parkmall in Mandaue City.
The art exhibit showcased the works of Gabby Abellana, Joshua Cabrera, Nomar Miano, Jess Najarro, Jojo Gubalane, Anthony Fermin, Clint Normandia, Radel Paredes, Alan Dimayacyac, Japamala Arnaldo, Jun Dale Bebita, Mark Olimba, Miko Acaso and Kevin Serad.
“Love on Canvas” was made possible through the efforts of Parkmall, DTI Cebu Provincial Office, Renaissance Artists & Writers Association – Cebu, and was officially endorsed by Department of Tourism Central Visayas.
