Experimental Bus System at the Business District of Cebu

This is good news to those working in the Cebu IT Park and Cebu Business Park. Test run operations for the bus service that would give access to commuters from the North and South of Cebu to the Cebu Business Park and Cebu IT Park has begun last December 26, 2016.

While the Bus Rail Transit (BRT) is put on hold, several bus operators have also plied to new routes to accommodate to the commuting needs of the Cebuanos. SM Prime and Jam Liner recently aunched a consortium of public transportation via the Cebu myBus not just to in some way lessen the worsening traffic in Cebu but also to accommodate the public to pass through Mactan International Airport and South Road Properties (SRP).

BUS ROUTE

Ceres Liner, a bus line under Vallacar Transit Inc., the largest public land transportation company in the island of Negros, Philippines. It operates bus transport service to the whole island of Negros from Bacolod City to Panay, Cebu, Bohol and Samar-Leyte islands.South Bus Terminal to CBP to CITP to CBP to North Bus Terminal and vice versa. Now, Ceres Bus will be running its bus operations right in the heart of the business district of Cebu City, on an experimental basis though.
